Anniversary!

David and I celebrated two years of marriage on Sunday. I can't believe it's been that long, didn't we just get married yesterday? (Reading back on old posts it sure feels like it was yesterday!) It was a great weekend, since it was on Sunday we did most of the celebrating on Saturday but Sunday was great too. :)

 My present to David.
 His present to me.
He's the kind of guy that really makes you feel great when he's opening your present! (I know you can feel the sarcasm.)
Being the crafty lady that I am, I made his gift! The theme was cotton this year so I monogrammed W.B.H. on a t shirt and gym shorts (he lives in them, that's where I got the idea.) I thought W.B.H. would be somewhat obvious, but apparently not for David. (I won't tell you the ones he came up with.) It stands for World's Best Hubby!
(Ok, I'm not much better, sue me.)
David named him "Mr. Bear." (Creative, yes?) I love him, and I plan on sleeping with him whenever David is out of town.
 We also made gingerbread houses!
Despite being from a box we still managed to screw them up pretty badly...
To finish off our day we had a typical dinner and movie date. We ate the Greystone grill.
I don't know why you think you'll ever escape pictures of food we eat, so just stop thinking about it! David got this cool wedge salad. It's a quarter of a head of iceberg lettuce with all the fixings on top! I thought it was so cool.
He has a lot of fun eating it too. I totally want to do this for a fancy dinner in the future.
Whenever we go out to eat it feels like David always orders ribs....
And I always order a seafood dish. I guess when you like something you like something right?
And now here we are, two years older and a heckavu lot wiser!
On Sunday morning David made me Eggs Benedict! (My all time favorite breakfast, he ever gave me the special plate set!)
We enjoyed eating breakfast together in the basement, spending quality time together and just enjoying each other's company.
Did you notice what he wore? :)

And what celebration would be complete without sparkling cider??

And can you believe it?? He managed to find a bouquet with BOTH of my favorite flowers. I thought lilies and peach roses together would look funny but I love it!  Here's to two more years together, love you hubs!
