Baltimore Aquarium

We just got back from a trip to the Aquarium! We went for David's Dad's birthday and it was a blast! I'd been a few times before but it's been years, it was so fun to go again. There were so many cool things, and I took way too many pictures (typical me). Here are some of my favorites:

One of my favorite exhibits was the "jellies" one. I don't want to be near any jellyfish, but they are fascinating to watch!

These were the "upside down" jellies. How weird are they?? (See the teeny tiny baby one in the top right?)

David and two of his sisters waiting for the dolphin show to start.

They were so stinkin' adorable!!! And they did so many cool tricks!

Like swim with a little ball on their nose.

And jump really high and hit a little ball! It was an awesome show.

I thought this little fish hiding in the oyster was soo cute! Hello!

His sisters' favorite fish was this little puffer. It was a fast little monster! I tried several times to get a picture and finally got this one. I think it looks pretty cool with the reflection.

We saw Nemo...

...and Dory!

And Squirt! And even....

A POKEMON!!!! Doesn't it look like Omanyte?

Doesn't it????

I'm pretty sure these seahorses were posing for this one!

I actually like how the child in front of me put his little hand on the glass, because now you can really see how gigantic the fish is!

I never thought a croc would be cute...but this one proved me wrong!

I love frogs. Even when they could kill me with one touch. Good thing there was glass in the way, it would have been hard to resist that shiny blue skin.

I think that fish on the right stuck it's fin in a socket don't you?

And to end the trip, a gigantic shark's mouth. Those teeth were as big as my hand!

It was a great trip! Do you have any fun plans for the weekend?

"And even...A POKEMON!!!!"

I literally laughed out loud at that part. I was (read: still am) such a huge Pokemon fan in my day. :)

Me too! I still play the old versions on my Gameboy and watch the TV show on DVD. :)
